MS3D Solar Temperature Controller

The MS3D solar controller is Australia's most popular solar controller, designed to give trouble free heating from the sun.

The controller is a set and forget user friendly differential temperature controlled to give trouble free pool heating.

The MS3D features include delayed startup, tropical and winter modes and the ability to fully override the controller.

This is perhaps the most important part of the solar heating system, as it determines when the solar system should be operating and when it should not. In most cases of complaints of insufficient heat, we have found either the controller was not operating, or the solar system was originally supplied without one at all. The difference a good controller can make, is enormous. Before buying extra solar collector area, make sure the automatic solar controller is operating.
The MS3D solar automatic temperature controller is a totally automated, stand alone Solar Controller. It comes with a two year warranty and has full electrical approval. Using two probes to monitor the pool and roof temperatures, the controller is able to control the temperature of a pool with accuracy and efficiency.

This equipment is not designed to be installed out in the rain. It must be protected from the weather at all times, and must not be installed within 3 metres of the swimming pool.

	The SC1 is a very basic solar controller used to heat your pool/spa from your solar collector. The controller does this by sensing the temperature on the roof and the temperature of the pool. If the roof temperature rises 7° above the pool temperature and the pool temperature is below the set point then the controller will switch power to the solar pump, which in turn will cycle the pool water through the collector to heat the water and then return it to the pool. If the pool temperature rises 1° above the set point or the roof temperature falls to within 2° of the pool water the controller will switch power off to the solar pump.
